Designed with small businesses in mind, Direct Discounts help lower upfront costs to make energy-efficiency upgrades more affordable. This program provides greater savings than the standard program with incentives covering up to 80% of project costs, with a maximum of $500,000. Your contractor will take care of the entire incentive application process, so you don’t have to worry about paperwork.

This program is specifically for customers with GS1 and GS3 rate codes looking to perform retrofit projects. New construction projects are not eligible for Direct Discounts but can receive incentives through our prescriptive program. (Not sure of your rate code? Check your current utility bill.)

Trained contractors

With the Direct Discount Program, all work will be performed by a participating contractor, so you have a trusted partner who is already familiar with the program requirements and its processes. This ensures your project runs smoothly and that you receive your full incentive on your invoice.

A simple process

The Direct Discount Program doesn’t require you to fill out an application. While there are some documents that will require a signature, the participating contractor of your choice will handle all the submission paperwork and incentive calculations, keeping you in the loop along the way. Your incentive is then applied as a direct credit on your final invoice so there are fewer out-of-pocket costs.
